What can i wear for a school social themed 'horror'?

Next week I have a school social (dance) and the theme is horror. I'm a 15 year old girl, and it's for school so it can't be too slutty. I want to be original, but also recognisable and still look good/hot. Also i can buy it or make it. Any suggestions?
