Will my ex have any real consequences this time when she shows up in court for non payment of child support?

My ex was a few thousand dollars behind so I took her to court. All they did was make her agree that her taxes would be intercepted (which they never were) and they found her in contempt. However she eventually paid that off with her taxes through the support office. But now she is almost a grand behind again. she lives in another state and her summer visitation is almost over and she and her family have been talking bad about my family and have not been answering the phone when we call to talk to my child. These are more rules she is breaking that I tried to tell her were stated in the states parenting guidelines. I just want to know if I took her to court for a second contempt charge that maybe she would actually have consequences this time for being a deadbeat parent.
